Sh.Anwar al-Awlaki kuollut

As salaamu aleikum,

Ehkä jo jotkut teistä on kuullut uutisen, jonka mukaan Sh.Anwar al-Awlaki on/olisi kuollut aikaisemmin tänään perjantaina Jemenissä. Huhua ei ole vielä mikään varteenotettava muslimisivusto ilmoittanut todeksi muttei myöskään kiistänyt. Jos huhu kuitenkin totta, innal lillaahi wa inna ilehi raaji'uun. Muistakaa tehdä dua'aa hänelle ja muistakaa vaikka hänkin poistuu luotamme, kuten me kaikki maistamme joku päivä kuolemaa, tiedonhankinta jatkuu, hänen luentojaan on ladattavissa lukemattoman monilta sivuilta ja näin ollen voimme edesauttaa jopa häntä hänen kuolemansa jälkeen teon muodossa. Sadaqatul jaariah, joka on hyväntekeväisyys, joka jatkuu kuolemankin jälkeen hänen osaltaan, joka on opettanut, kirjoittanut, tuottanut jonkinasteista tietoa muille ihmisille, jotka taas jatkavat sitä eteenpäin. Toivottavasti itse eläen niiden oppien mukaan ja myös opettaen niitä eteenpäin.

Vahvistan kuitenkin tämän heti kun olen varma että tieto tulee oikeista lähteistä insha Allaah.

Jemeniläisten foorumissa, joka katsotaan olevan "Al-Qaida" foorumi, sanotaan, että hän olisi kuollut:

May Allah bless you my noble brothers. The news is true. We say, may Allah have mercy on our sheikh and our beloved, Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed this morning in the area between al-Jawf and Marib in a Hilux 2005 vehicle, along with six people accompanying him.

We consider him as a martyr and we ask mercy for all the mercy who fell with him in this raid, which was carried out by a plane that monitored the movements of Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki for three days, according to what was told by local residents close to the incident.

Peace be upon you my dear brother. By Allah, I am from Yemen. Allah is witness that this news came upon us like a thunderbolt, but we consider him a martyr, because he was martyred along with another person, an American citizen of Pakistani origin who specialized in programming. The news was confirmed to me, and I apologize for the delay, because I was praying.

The family of Abdulrahman and Anwar Al- Awlaki Statement to the Press

During the last period we have avoided any interaction with the press regarding the unlawful assassination of Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki. One journalist rightly called it a “political stunt unworthy of the American nation”. Anwar was never a “militant” nor was he “the head of Al Qaeda external operations”. Anwar was an American citizen who had not been formally charged with any crime, and no evidence was ever presented.
However, this statement is about his son, Abdulrahman. We watched with surprise and condemnation how several prominent American newspapers and news channels twist the truth calling Abdulrahman as an Al Qaeda operative and falsely and misleadingly stating his age as 21 year old.
Abdulrahman Anwar Awlaki was born on August 26, 1995 in Denver Colorado. He was an American citizen raised in the U.S. until 2002 when his father was forced to leave the U.S. and go back to Yemen. Since then, Abdulrahman has lived in Sana’a (Yemen’s capital) until several weeks ago, when in mid September he left his mother a note stating that he missed his father and will go search for him in Shabwah governorate – his ancestral homeland. About a week later his father was assassinated on September 30 2011. He stayed in Shabwah with his relatives and has been intending to go back to Sana’a within days. On October 14th 2011 Abdulrahman, along with some of his tribe’s youth have gone barbecuing under the moonlight. A drone missile hit their congregation killing Abdulrahman and several other teenagers.
We ask you to visit Abdulrahman’s Facebook page: Abdulrahman Al-awlaki to see the “lethal terrorist”, “the 21 yr old Qaeda operative” the US government is claiming they killed. Look at his pictures, his friends and his hobbies. His Facebook page shows a typical kid. A teenager who paid a hefty price for something he never did and never was.
